1 I am aware that the Christian use of ‘person’ in ‘God is Three Persons in One’ is not altogether unsophisticated. A detailed discussion of that statement would need to include a consideration of ‘ God is three personae in one substantia’.
2 For instance, the Neo-Thomist way, which tries to settle the worry by offering a theory of analogical predication, or the way of the Theology of Paradox in which nonsense is positively welcomed (though it is called not ‘nonsense’ but ‘ paradox ’).
